Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
In this episode we go back over the 0-0 draw with Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday. Mikel Arteta did make changes to his team, but they didn’t really work in the first half. The second was complicated by the dismissal of Nicolas Pepe, and in the end a point in the context of the game was reasonable. We discuss the sending off, how the record signing blew a big chance, and Mikel Arteta’s reaction to it. There’s also chat about the importance of Bukayo Saka, as well as the club’s dismal use of resources, before questions about the manager and his non-negotiables, the need for some stability, set-pieces, and lots more.
Remember, you can send us questions via which we’ll try and get to each week. Send them to either @arseblog or @Gunnerblog (or both) using the hashtag #arsecastextra. Best to send them Monday morning so they get noticed more easily.
