Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
In this episode we look back at the 4-1 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday, which put us 8 points clear at the top of the table. We discuss team selection, not least Rob Holding starting his first Premier League game of the season, and how he acquitted himself. We continue to marvel at the contributions of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli as they got three of our four goals, there’s the goal we conceded, some Ben White fun, scoring the fourth, and sealing the points to put pressure on our title rivals. Then there are questions about how we might deal with the right back issue, changes at board level, the coaching staff and in particular some of the younger members, and loads more, including that Antonio Conte press conference.
Here’s the Conte piece I mention in the pod: https://arseblog.com/2021/11/no-man-is-powerful-enough-to-thwart-nature/
