Welcome to another episode of the Arsecast – the Arsenal podcast.
In this bonus Arsecast episode, I’m joined by James – not to talk about Arsenal, but the release of his brand new book: The Champ and The Chump. His grandfather, Terry Downes, nicknamed ‘The Paddington Express’, was a boxer and held the world middleweight title for a time in the 1960s. James is a comedian, writer, actor, and podcaster who has spent most of his life actively avoiding being punched in the face. We chat about how the book came about, the life and times of a world champion, how James has had to deal with certain issues in his own life, and lots more.
You can get The Champ and The Chump at your local independent book shop, from all the big online retailers, and as an audio book – which might be good for those of you listen to the podcasts. We also have a couple of signed copies to give away too.
