Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
It’s a very goodly morning as we discuss yesterday’s 1-0 win over Man Utd at Old Trafford. We’ve waited a long time for victory there in the league, so it feels sweet. We chat about the team selection and the way the starting XI executed the game-plan so well. Within the impressive collective performance, there were some eye-catching individuals too, and we shine the light on some of those, including Gabriel, Rob Holding, Hector Bellerin, Thomas Partey, and Mohamed Elneny – a player who probably wouldn’t have been first choice for many but who made such a big contribution on the day. We answer listener questions about fine margins, foul throws, what Willian brings to the team (or doesn’t), why we need to think about zones more than formations, the influence of Tim Lewis and LOADS more.
Remember, you can send us questions via which we’ll try and get to each week. Send them to either @arseblog or @Gunnerblog (or both) using the hashtag #arsecastextra. Best to send them Monday morning so they get noticed more easily.
