Arsecast Extra Episode 557 – 06.12.2023

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we look back on the dramatic 4-3 win over Luton at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday evening. There is focus on the late, great winner from Declan Rice, but also discussion of how we found ourselves needing to find that goal in the first place. David Raya is in the spotlight again after he was found wanting for two goals and we chat about this team’s ability to keep going right until the death to find a way to salvage points that looked like they might be lost. And how does this reflect on Arsenal’s title aspirations?! There are inevitable questions about the keepers, but is there a bigger one to be asked? Plus questions about injuries at the back and squad depth there, the need for that 25 goal a season striker, the captaincy, Arteta’s use of subs in this game, and lots more.
