Welcome to another episode of the Arsecast – the Arsenal podcast.
On this episode I’m joined by Ryan Hunn to discuss the incredible 2-1 win over Wolves on Thursday night. We chat about a poor start, resulting in exactly the kind of game scenario we didn’t want, as well as some missed chances for the visitors. The conversation then turns to Arsenal overcoming the stats to produce late turnaround which feels really significant. Nicolas Pepe came on to equalise, Alexandre Lacazette’s winner might officially be an own goal but he deserves credit for his impact on what was a difficult night for him otherwise. We also talk about what this victory means for a young team that’s learning and growing together, the midfield options which are proving invaluable, a show of character and lots more.
There’s also a late, Lacazette-style cameo from James after the final music, so stay tuned.
