Arsecast Extra Episode 396 – 31.01.2021

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we chat about the 0-0 draw with Man Utd at the Emirates on Saturday evening. A draw was probably a fair result in the end, but there were some encouraging aspects to the performance – not least the ability to deal without three very important players. We talk about missed chances at both ends, another clean sheet for the Gunners, the half-time sub, and the shortcomings of VAR after the Bruno Fernandes. We then answer listener questions about William Saliba’s quotes, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and his potential loan destinations, Nicolas Pepe, what’s left of the January window, the importance of Bernd Leno and lots more.

Remember, you can send us questions via which we’ll try and get to each week. Send them to either @arseblog or @Gunnerblog (or both) using the hashtag #arsecastextra. Best to send them Monday morning so they get noticed more easily.

You can subscribe to the Arsecast Extra on iTunes by clicking here. Or if you want to subscribe directly to the feed URL you can do so too (this is a much better way to do it as you don’t experience the delays from iTunes).
