According to reports in the Belgian press Thomas Vermaelen is to undergo surgery on Tuesday for his achilles problem.
Apparently a small tendon close to the achilles is causing the problem but he hopes this will cure it and he’ll be back by March. Optimistic but let’s hope he’s right.
