Boro preview, Ashley Cole talks crap

Morning all, with the internationals out of the way for timebeing we can concentrate on real football and tomorrow we’ll be looking for our first league win of the season as we play Boro at the Grove.

Arsene Wenger has to make a decision about where to play William Gallas, hinting that he could be used at left back. I think that all depends on whether or Johann Djourou is fit enough to play. If he is then I don’t see any problem with Gallas on the left. If the young Swiss doesn’t make it then I’d play Gallas alongside Kolo in the middle and Mathieu Flamini at left back ahead of the shaky looking Justin Hoyte.

Up front you have to think Robin van Persie’s two awesome midweek goals will be enough to give him the nod to play with Thierry.
With the new signings we have some decent options again for the bench and when you consider our subs could consist of Baptista, Walcott, one of Hleb, Freddie or Rosicky or Adebayor along with Aluminium and a defender (possibly Hoyte) then there’s plenty there to change the game if need be.

Oooh Ashley Cole, is a fucking arsehole...Cuntley Cunt was presented at Chelsea yesterday and he continued his spoofing by telling everyone he went there for footballing reasons and not money. Given the fact his dispute with Arsenal was triggered by him and his agent quibbling over £5,000 a week it’s hard to believe a word he says.

He says he turned down Real Madrid to join Chelsea and just to show how much faith we can have in what Cuntley says, here’s a quote from the infamous NOTW interview with the ‘I wouldn’t stay for £200,000 a week’.

“I won’t sign for another Premiership club because I can’t imagine myself playing against Arsenal. I would only want to play abroad.”

So you didn’t move for money, Osama Bin Laden loves Americans and Phil Collins is a truly talented and gifted performer. It’s strange to see him in another shirt, I have to say, but it’ll be nice to see young Theo skin him to set up the winner at Stamford Bridge. Thanks to Fem for the picture above.
And that’s about it. Thanks to everyone for their replies about where to watch tomorrow’s game in Dublin, hopefully I’ll find somewhere half decent.

There’ll no doubt be more team news as the day goes on so keep an eye on the news feeds. Oh, and next week I’ll be making some changes to the mailing list so keep an eye out for that.
