It’s still very, very quiet as international week is well and truly upon us now. Jeremie Aliadiere is impressing West Ham Alan Pardew who says “He will fit into our style of play and be a big player for us.”
Nearly man Sebastian Viera has joined Villarreal who don’t seem to have any problems with his hip cyst and platform boots. Rumours persist that the signing we’re going to make before the deadline is Mart Poom from Sunderland. Certainly one to get the fans out celebrating in the streets, no question.
It’s a quiet one so have a larf at Walrus-face Allardyce blast foreign managers because they have no credentials as footballers. Ask Liverpool if they’d rather have unsuccessful player Benitez as manager or someone like Bryan Robson or Mark Lawrenson or Frank Stapleton – top players who just couldn’t cut it as managers.
And that’s it. Surely something has to happen today, surely.
