Buenos dias a todos. A quick Saturday round-up for you before I spend the day lazing. We were supposed to be playing Liverpool this weekend but they played in the Super-Duper Cup last night and won with some goals from Dribbly Cissy. That means news is fairly thin on the ground.
Dennis Bergkamp talks about his last chance of winning the Champions League while the news that Robert Pires has been left out of the French side for their upcoming games is about as interesting as not being able to think of something that’s not interesting at all.
Just checking around the Spanish press and they have us linked with another swoop for a Barcelona youngster called Fran Mérida. He’s represented by Joseba Diaz, who is also Cesc’s agent, and after his summer holidays the player decided he wouldn’t sign a contract with Barcelona and apparently he’s deciding between us and Real Madrid. We shall see what happens.
