Arsecast Extra Episode 412 – 25.04.2021

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we look back at Friday night’s 1-0 defeat to Everton at the Emirates. Another game Arsenal shouldn’t have dropped points in, but somehow found a way to do it. We chat about the Bernd Leno error and the VAR decision which overturned the awarding of the penalty given for a ‘foul’ on Dani Ceballos. Then attention turns to the protests before the game, what sparked them, and the thorny issue of the club’s ownership. We then take questions about which goalkeeper should play in the Europa League semi-final against Villarreal, Mikel Arteta’s position if things don’t go well in the next few weeks, Granit Xhaka at left-back, Thomas Partey’s season so far, other billionaires interested in Arsenal and lots more.
